Keeping busy

What a week! We have had so much fun and kept so busy I don't know where to start. Dale and I have been wanting to get Landon a new bike for some time now, since he outgrew his tricycle. So when we saw the bike we liked at costco for $10 keeper than we were going ot buy it for at Target we did it! It's a little big for him now but he really likes it and is slowing learning to ride it.
We had an awesome trip to the pumkpin patch in Marana. There was so much to do for families and especially the little kiddos. Landon go to ride his first horse!! At first glance I believed they had special harnesses for small kids that wrapped around them and kept them on the horse but as soon as I handed my tickets to a gentlemen he wisked Landon away himself and placed him on the horse! I didn't have time to check anything out andit turned out the ponies didn't have safety equipment of that nature just a old fashioned saddle with a horn to hold onto! Landon got it right away without anything instrucitons and took off! It was amazing, we were so proud. We also jumped on huge air filled pillows similar to a jumping castle, climbed the "straw mountain", played on the jungle gym, and rode the tractor trailer that was pulled to the patch of pumkins to pick our own. We were so pooped by the time we were leaving I felt like we got our money's worth!
Landon and I were able to go with our friends to a Halloween party at their churh. It was so great to see all of the hard work my mom and I put in on Landon's Peter Pan costume go to good use. There was food and games with prizes and so many adorable kids dressed up. Landon even ran into Tinkerbell which was one of my favorite pictures of the night to capture! Even though we left before the "trunk or treat" started we still had a blast and loved hanging out with Hillary, Preston, Jordan, and Natalie. I am so excited to get Landon back in his costume on Halloween night at Taffy's neighborhood get together.
On Thursday afternoon we went to Trial Dust Town and got to ride some of the rides there. It's a small cowboy setup "town" with shops restaurants and rides right in the middle of the city. We rode the train, the carousel and the kiddie size ferris wheel. He loved them all! It was great practice for our first family vacation coming next week at.....drum roll......Disneyland!!!
