We have had a great week this week, spending a lot of time outdoors and taking advantage of the nice fall weather. Landon had been asking daddy for months to "take me to the mountain", which is his way of asking to go hiking up the beautiful mountains we see everyday. Dale hasn't been able to with the summer heat so this was the week to do it. They hiked a little ways up and sat at a bench to have a snack then Landon was quickly pooped out and needed to head back. But it was a great first hike!
We were also invited to watch Hillary and Preston's soccer game last night. Dale and I were wondering how we would ever keep Landon from running all over the field during the game but he did great! I was able to catch a short video of Landon and Jordan playing soccer together. Pretty cute huh!
This morning we went to a local firehouse with Muzzy, Papa, and Gigi for their annual open house where the firemen and woman made a pancake breakfast and there was a clown. Landon LOVES clowns on TV so I was thrilled that he would finally get to meet a real one. The clown gave a lecture on fire safety which was a little over Landon's head but we really enjoyed our visit.
