Halloween Fun

Halloween was busy and fun!! But we are looking forward to some down time for a couple of weeks. Here's some pictures from the rest of our October.

Landon had a blast as always at the Kid's Gym. We went to the library one evening when they were hosting a "stuffed animal sleepover". It was the cutest thing ever. You show up in your pj's, read bedtime stories, have some cookies with milk, and leave your stuffed animal with the other children's and they have a "sleepover party". When we picked up Landon's stuffed animal the next day they gave us a booklet with tons of pictures the library staged. They had the animals in the book drop, playing hide and seek in the books, and having book cart races! Adorable.

Our church hosted a movie night in the courtyard one evening and it was a blast. They had food trucks, games, smores kits with firepits, and the largest outdoor movie screen I've ever seen.  We invited Landon's best friend Luke who came with his mom Brittney and baby sister TInley. The boys sat on a hay bale together for the move and put their arms around each other once in awhile. It melted our hearts! Dale donned his Ghost Busters Costume to go up in the attic with the insulation (we are trying to install gas line so we can replace the 20 years old electric range I've been using). I made a ghostly pizza for dinner one night which Landon thought was pretty cool.

We spent an awesome Saturday at the new Chuck E. Cheese! The new location they built is clean, has much better food, and tons more games for little guys to play. Landon scored 400 tickets from all the games he played and quickly decided on this awesome prize with all of his tickets, and he proudly wore it whole way home.

We carved pumpkins, had lunch at the park on a beautiful day and found silly stuff to wear at Walmart.

We had a family smores night after dinner, played at Burger King, had a Halloween popcorn treat  I made for the boys, and spent 2 1/2 hours in urgent care for Landon's cold with weezy cough.

The night before Halloween I made a "Mickey Halloween Party" for us. I had bought some great Mickey souvenirs when we were at Disneyland. The big Mickey pumpkin lights up different colors and is a trick-or-treat pale.  I had also found a Mickey shaped pasta in DIsneyland I made into macaroni and cheese with Mickey shaped chicken nuggets! The party was a hit!

And finally Halloween came! Landon was proudly Spiderman. We spent some time in Taffy's neighborhood for their annual Halloween potluck then went trick or treating with Luke and his family in the most perfect neighborhood that closes off the streets to cars and really throws a party!

We are so lucky to have such great friends, family, and blessings.
